Fueling and Convening Minnesota's Innovation Economy: The Twenty-Second Year
Since 1987, the Minnesota Venture Capital Association and The Collaborative have co-hosted Minnesota's premier Venture & Finance Conference. The goal of the conference is the same as it was in the beginning — bringing together investors and entrepreneurs to discuss, learn and network in order to nurture Minnesota's innovation economy.
Companies & Investing
Presenting Companies – 20 of Minnesota's most promising companies will give 8-minute presentations on Tuesday, October 7.
Entrepreneurial Showcase – An additional 20+ companies will give one-minute introductions ­ all will have tables and profiles.
The State of Venture Investing – John Taylor, Vice President of Research at the National Venture Capital Association, will evaluate the current trends in venture capital.
Reception – Great networking with companies and attendees.

Keynote: Richard Anderson, CEO, Delta Air Lines
Wednesday, October 8, Mr. Anderson will discuss trends in the airline industry, Delta's pending merger with Northwest Airlines, and the importance of the airline industry to fostering innovation in today's global economy. For more on the Keynote Address, click here

Healthcare experts will discuss how creative innovations in care, delivery and cost impact Minnesota's opportunity.
Trends in Clean – Hear from experts considering what 'cleantech' looks like in Minnesota — wind, ethanol, biomass and more.
Trends in Technology – Top executives in software, web, security and venture capital will look at overall trends and Minnesota's unique position.
